Passenger seat rocks

Hi everybody! Hi Dr. nick!

I got my Si about 2 weeks ago, and i noticed that the passenger seat is a little loose, and rocks a little bit. It doesn't sit sturdily like the driver seat does. Was wondering if there was a quick way to fix it by myself? Im kinda lazy to take it to the dealership...if that's the case, i would just wait till my first oil change to do it.

Anybody have any ideas?

Tighten the four bolts that are labeled 12 on the diagram. You'll have to pop off the protective covers to get to those bolts. See if that helps.

You should bring it in to the dealer so if there are other cases like yours, Honda may issue a recall to fix the problem. If you bring it to the dealer, it should be covered under your warranty.

And make sure those bolts have washers on them, too.

My passenger seat just vibrates like hell...no noises or anything, just if you look over at it when you are driving, the damn thing looks like its having a seasure or something!

I just try to look at the road instead of my seat hahaha!

that is just sad to hear. I would have thought honda would have fixed this issue. Countless people complained on the 7thgens for passenger seats that rattle, vibrate, whatever.

Maybe the same guy is still working there tightening the same bolts.... FIRE HIM lol.

ohh man i have the same problem! my friends noticed it in the passenger seat... but i guess it needs a little tightening... but like you i am very lazy and cant seem to get around to it...

I haven't noticed any real rattles with the passengers seat. I place my seat in the half way down position so I can see out of that quarter window on the passengers side. I would suggest that you check the seat bolts, if their not loose it sounds like your going to need to take it into the local Honda dealer.
