Post Alarm doesnt chirp when armed

After I installed my Injen CAI I had to enter my radio reset code, because of battery removal. So now after i park my car and arm the alarm all that i get after about 20 seconds a blink (flash) from the headlights and tailights. It doesn't chirp with the lights. Any ideas? It will honk if i press the arm button twice. But B4 it only needed to be pressed once.

Its only supposed to beep when u press it twice anyway... So maybe something was wrong in the first place...

The factory OEM alarm doesn't make an audible noise when you press the arm button once. Do you have an aftermarket alarm?

Nope, mines never chirped with only 1 press of the click. Only makes a noise when I hit the lock button a 2nd time. Had it since May 06

Factory alarm? Am I missing something here? There is no "alarm"...an audible confirmation of remote door locking, sure. But alarm? No.

Well since the horn goes off when you open the doors, hood or trunk I would say it IS an alarm. The only difference between this and an aftermarket alarm is the horn and the shock sensor.
