Here's the maintenance schedule.

Maintenance Schedule and Pricing Menu

I can't say I'm familiar enough with the auto transmission fluid to tell you whether it's synthetic or not.

I think its dino fluid. Redline and Amsoil make a fully syn fluid that meets Honda requirements. Redline has a very good rep for making some of the best gear fluids. So I'll be using Redline.

That looks like a generic schedule plan.

Check your user manual if you want to know about the maintenance schedule then... the sticky thread that I posted is the maintenance schedule... whether you consider it "generic" or not.

User manual has NO list of miles or dates. NONE. Page 212 in the Honda Civic owners manual say to follow the computer maintencance minder. With code A or B and a number 1-5.
Page 218 is the maintenance record and it allows you to circle A or B and any number from 1-5.

The sticky thread you posted is near worthless.
There is no C and I'm pretty sure there has never been a 4wd civic
Also the Honda recommends in the Honda Civic manual to replace the oil on some changes without the need for a filter change. What you posted was "hillside Honda" service department's version that allows them to make more profit.

The images your are posting are NOT from a Honda Civic owners manual. I've got the 2007 Honda Civic owners manual right in front of me.

Synthetic far exceeds conventional ATF in all performance ratings.

The only problem, is synthetic ATF lasts 2x to 3x as long in the same conditions...well, that's not really a problem unless you're under warranty.

So the problem is if you're still under warranty you can't take advantage of extended ATF drain intervals.

Otherwise, heat transfer, gas mileage, shearing, oxidization, heat stability, and cold weather performance are all better with synthetic ATF.

It's well worth the $7 to $10 a quart.

Look around the forum and you'll see how all the manual transmission guys are super happy with synthetic MTF (specifically AMSOIL).

So its 30k thanks. Did you get that info from a repair manual? Or does the ECU determine when to change ATF fluid like it does oil?

I'm going to use redline ATF fluid and will install it now (new car). Then I'll follow the 30k guideline since I spent the money on the 120k warranty and I'm not sure how durable this new auto trans is.

Here is websight that list maintenance needed by mileage:

http://www.hondabeat.com/maintenance.php

And according to my maintenance book that came w/ my '06 Civic Replacing the tranny fluid is #3 So I imagine in my case when the Maint. minder pops up the next time it will say B12345 since I am close to 30K. Better start saving now.

hope this helps

That website is still general information. It says to change spark plugs at 60k. And to always change oil and oil filter at the same time.

Hmm. Lets see the fact that is was built in 2007. The fact that the designers made MANY many improvement to the car. I could make a huge list as to what makes a 2007 Civic different than 5th,6th, or 7th gen cars. Not sure why I need to. THis is the 8th gen chat boards.

And yes I don't change the oil filter at every oil change. Once again I refer to the people who built the car and not some old ass wise tales. Many Many car manufactors suggest oil changes without the need to change the oil filter. If your oil filter is soo dirty that is prevents flow after 5k-10k miles of use then you have many other issues to worry about.

Even a stock VW with a diesel engine goes 10k miles on one filter. But in Europe with the oil life monitor in the ECU. It allows for up to 30k or one year.

But all I want is to see a list of ranges that a 2007 Honda Civic has.

TWO seperate people have shown you the recomended intervils for changing your tranny fluid. From 3 different sources. If you choose to ignore them then change it every weekend for all I care. The fact that you change model years has little berring on what the intervals are. I have owned 3 seperate generations of both civic and accord and going back to 1985. Guess what it hasn't changed. The only thing that has changed is that now Honda has a Maintenace Minder reminds you that it is time for service to your vehicle.

If no one has shown you this link yet it is a place that you can put in your car info and it will show you your maintenace schedule. It's a Honda site that will tell you everything that you wanted to know about your specific car.:
