Mysterious Fluid

Hi everyone,

I am a long time reader, 1st or 2nd time poster. I have a question about a mysterious fluid that has seem to pop up underneath my car.
The Drip pattern seem like an A/C condensation drip, but upon closer inspection, the fluid is a very light yellow. I just came back from an hour and a half trip, and did not turn my a/c at all, so I have ruled out that it is just water. The fluid does not seem to be oily, sticky or smelly. Well maybe a faint oily smell.

I put a piece of cardboard underneath to see the results in the morning. Thanks for any help. I should also note that it is around 18 degrees celsius outside.

thanks

Either Brake, Power steering, or clutch resevoir. Could be tranny but doubt it.

Hey guys,

I checked my fluids, and all are fine. I think it is just condensation/water. But its weird cuz the a/c wasn't on. Does the condenser work even when the a/c is off?

Thanks for the help!

Chesk your manual for the air settings. Sometimes there are settings that you think wouldn't activate the compressor, but they do.

Last resort... take it to your dealer. It should take them only a few minutes to help you.

Good luck.

prob just some discolored water from the condenser...the a/c runs when u use defrost...all the other fluids would hav a distinct smell and color other than yellow
