to Swap or get new Tires

I just got a set of Acura RSX 16" rims from a local guy

I have 8k miles of these GoodYear RSA tires and have not driven it hard or much (wifes car) so i cant tell. But Ive read a bunch of mixed reviews and not sure what to believe. Dillemma - SHould i pay and get these RSA to swap to the new wheels or should i start to look into alternate set and use the stock as Full size Spares

Thanks in advance

Does your wife autocross or otherwise push to the limit on a regular basis? Other than status or ego, what would be the advantage of different tires?

I don't think there's too much difference under daily driving as long as they aren't too worn. Don't go by the penny test though. They've pretty well determined that's too worn and a quarter is the right coin to test with. That should be about 4/32 depth. I'd probably run those a while and just keep an eye on tread depth and maybe replace by about 5-6/32 if I wasn't liking them too well.
