Look at the problem this poor guy had with rear window

I haven't had any of these symptoms but then again I haven't driven with my windows down. It's been the coldest and wettest March since 1904 here and April looks like more of the same. First chance I get, though, I'll drive on the freeway with the windows rolled down and see if I get any of these symptoms.

I bet he took his 2-12" subs and his 1,000 watt amp out of the trunk before he took it to the dealer.

1K watts won't damage a windshield.

Hmmm. After reading the complaint about the rear window problem I went to see if my Civic has any symptoms that might be a precursor to the same problem. I noticed that there is more space between the rear window and rear right pillar and less space between the left pillar and rear window. I don't know what to make of this. Anybody else out there with this spacing discrepancy?

By the way I haven't driven with my windows down yet either. Man I'm nervous now.

You guys should stopped reading these kinds of post if it gets you nervous... It's not because 3 cars have a problem that the 35 000 others will. Anyway, you have a warranty for those kind of repair. Use it if you have a problem.

Opening your windows while driving shouldn't damage a windshield either...

Yeah, I had to take a semi-break myself due to nerves. I came here to research a problem and found a host of others that hopefully I will never have.
I read those windshield posts a while ago and even posted on them on another thread. There are three people just on that board with that issue. Doesn't have anything to do with playing loud music. One person said that dealer removed her windshield and there was an 18" section missing adhesive. The one you read had adhesive but it was apparently inferior. Said she was going to file with NHTSA (National Highway Safety Administration) and since this was on a message board I double checked a week later and sure enough an official complaint was there. It's apparently legit.

There will most likely be a recall when they find out where those cars came from and when they were built due the serious safety issue involved.

I am just keeping my fingers crossed. I'm glad I found message boards for all of the good advice I've gotten and at the same time wishing I hadn't - if you know what I mean
