Rattling exhaust piping

Well, today I was driving along minding my own business. I got out my car to do something and as I was getting back in, I hear a rattling. I put my head near the engine and I heard click click click (injectors, all normal) then I put my head underneathe the car and found the source of the problem. The exhaust piping is rattling. Has anyone else experienced this? I am going to dealershit on Monday and maybe they can bolt it down?

wait so is that click click in the engine normal? Is it the injectors that make that continuously click sound? Cuz I thought something was wrong. I took it to the dealer and the guy said everythings good but still i dont like the sound of that clicking noise. Are all the Si's suposed to sound like that?

Yes the injectors do make a clicking sound when the car runs, thats normal. Do you have stock exhaust or aftermarket?

Way normal. It did it on my evo as well.

Is the exhaust stock? Have you taken it off before?

it's probably the heat shields on the cat rattling.

That clicking is normal. I have it on my r18 too, just the injectors firing. My exhaust makes a banging noise when it first starts up, but then its quiet. Same thing after I installed the after market exhaust. NBPRudy is probably right is most likely a heat shield.

I had something like that on our last prelude and it was the ceramic material inside the cat coming loose. We found out that's what it was when I lost alot of power and it went into limp mode. Probably not the same thing though.

I have owned Hondas since the late 80's models and all of the fuel injected models have done it, everyone of them. All of the way back to the PGM-FI.

My prelude didn't make it that loud. All the others did though.

I have a Skunk2 full catback 60mm exhaust, and have noticed rattling noises too. At first I thought it might be a loose panel or something, but then I walked out behind the car I noticed the noise, then I tapped the exhaust and it would go away, so I"ll have to get underneath and check it out, regarding the heat shields.

No, yours is the hangars on the skunk2. You have to cut the hangars shorter. You have to do it on all of the skunk2 exhausts. It's the hangars for the muffler section.
