wow car just died in my driveway

umm went out side (here in new olreans its like 100) and the car was very hot, had just drove it 3 hours ago and i went to turn the key and POP the gauges go dim and the car dies
i think wow that sounded like a bunch of fuses or somthing hopped out and ran to get the keys for my truck (im late for work) and then after i started the truck i needed my glasses in the civic, tried to start it again and everything powerwise came on then when i crank it it just pops every 5 seconds
no time to look at it now
damn!

well the blown fuses probably have something to do with it, so you have an idea what half the problem is. Unfortunately there could be a short somewhere in the electrical system

those large ones usually protect the major power conduits starter and things of that nature

your manual should have info in it for the fuses, or the underside of the fuse panel under the hood
