P2R + gaskets + K&N = no !
I already knew this, but the stubborn Italian I am, I go ahead and install the P2R TB spacer + gaskets WITH my K&N. Of course, the heatshield hits the brake lines. So I yank out the heatshield, and modify it a little. Bend in the corners. Fits.
Now, all installed, etc, it vibrates quite a bit on the steering wheel and brake pedal at around 3k rpm. My question is, besides the obvious using the stock air intake, would the K&N work WITHOUT the heatshield ? I am about to find out and will let you know! I will probably answer my own question! ahha. |
