I have a little hiss coming from mine too! I think its normal but im still checking into it! Otherwise the Spacer is a good cheap mod!

I have a hiss and whistle, I am going to check to make sure everything is tight when I get home. Otherwise, I agree very easy mod (even with the KN Sri).

Waiting to install mine until my baby gets home from the shop for a knock under the hood. Hope it's nothing serious. Can't wait. Gonna do this with my CAI all at once.

i dont think there's an easier mod out there.. finished in less than 30 minutes and i didnt even break a sweat.. i DO have a almost whistle sound around 3500 RPM.. gonna make sure everythings good and tight in the morning.

I just tried doin the install but couldn't get the studs out, and the stock ones don't fit.

Any tips?

Take one of the nuts from the other studs (haha, no pun intended) you removed and thread it backwards on to the stud. Then, take the other nut and thread normally so that both nuts touch (this is horrible). Using your wrench, loosen the stud by rotating counter-clockwise. When the stud is out, take the nuts off the stud using two wrenches. Install the new ones which is the easy part. Using the picture below from the OP as a guideline on how to take the studs out.

BTW, the whistle is normal. Just wait until it gets colder, you'll hear it more.

Question, I just got my TB spacer and haven't installed it yet but it seems as if the little plastic plug wont go in all the way, I don't want to twist it too much and mess up the threads. Has this happened to anybody else?

Just be glad yours was plastic; mine was brass and far harder to get on and clear the throttle body (only about three or so threads are showing).

could be... b/c the two gaskets not only replace the stock one... but it helps keep some heat away from the intake manifold...

b4 i had the spacer i couldn't even touch my manifold after a hard run... now i can leave my hand on it w/o any burning...
