Fairly easy to install, but I've done alot of work on K-Series in the past.

Did you check to see if the return coolant hose from the bottom of the Throttle body was slighly bent because of the extra length the spacer takes up? What Im talking about is the two coolant lines that connect to the lower side of the throttle body, that most people bypass using the TB coolant bypass DIY. I didn't do this, however I did notice that the bottom return line was very slightly bent on the radiator return (black bar that connects the lower throttle body line to the nipple on the bar). Has anyone else noticed this?

This is a nice easy mod, did this yesterday along with the shifter cable bushings, took no time at all and fitment is perfect. Cant really tell the difference but its only a few horses so i wasnt expecting much-

Dumb question. I noticed you didn't drain the coolant. This is doable without draining?

^^ i don't see why you have to drain the coolant. it has nothing to do with the radiator or hoses.

I'm gonna do the same mode with the thermal gasket but with a Helix spacer.

You do not have to drain the coolant- i left all my hoses connected to the throttlebody anyway, there is enough room to manouver with them still on

Can i do it with the stock upper radiator hose and CAI without cutting anything?

Great job! I'll have to do the same with my car's upper radiator hose. I noticed a little pinch with the CAI I have installed. What a PITA it was to get the 90 on the intake. I'll post picks when I get them.

i have installed the P2R spacer with two gaskets one on each side just like BubzSI in his DIY only difference i have an Injen CAI. After installing it and letting the car idle for about 5 minutes i test drove it around the block when i got back i noticed a sort of noise coming from the vacuum pipe the comes out of the top of the throttle body. the noise is sort of like if air is not passing through correctly. anyone have any insight or have had this same issue? thanks.

no leaks here... get a can of brake cleaner and spray it where you think the leak is... if the car starts to idle funny then you found your leak... it's very hard to find a leak just by sound....

i will definitely try that but my car does not seem to idle at the present moment it stays steady. wouldn't my car idle minutes after being on if it had a leak?

with as sensitive as these cars are... it should idle funny... but since it's not... it should make finding the leak that much easier...

I've noticed a little hiss but I think that's from my CAI intake. I'll have to look into it a little closer to be sure. I know that the bolts for the TB have to be torqued to 16ft/lbs and that's what I did but it might require just a little more.

I just ordered this and received the product today, the bolts they sent are a brass color which I dont like and the plug is plastic instead of the metal one like on the first post....anyone else experience this??

I just installed the Spacer and Gasket and now when i try to put the car into reverse it feels weird. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

Mine were the same. That shouldn't affect performance LOL!

i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the spacer...

so i sprayed the brake cleaner all around the throttle body and my car did not idle at all. do you have any other suggestions.
