DRL's Daytime Running Lights...

does anyone know the easiest and most simple way to reach and change the DRL's?!...does anyone know the model of the DRL bulbs as well?...so much **** is mashed into the hoods of these civics its impossible to change anything without dismantling the whole front end!...also if there is a DIY article on this with pics, a link would be helpful too, thanks!

I think the DRL's are the high beam bulbs.... Correct me if I'm wrong.

I changed my low beams by taking the battery and coolant overflow out for the drivers side (easiest way) and through the wheel well for the passenger side. You can also go through wheel well for drivers side but I found it more difficult (be sure to turn the wheel all the way).

you have to reset the radio code and all when you remove the battery right?...if you go thru the wheel well, does the whole wheel well come out? or do you remove some clips and bend it back?

Remove a few clips and bend it back, don't need to remove the whole thing. I have my radio code memorized so its no big deal for me to disconnect battery.

bulbs that operate at a higher temp than regular halogen bulbs, will they damage the lens housing (burn or melt) in any way?

It will burn your socket (connection) for the bulb. Just buy a new pigtail and replace.
