AFAIK, it has to do with the cruise control.

its normal so there is no solution. Turn the radio up louder, or run the car in higher rpm and with the rev hang, you'll never hear it

If it's making a very faint click, then yeah, it's normal. I had a Honda technician assure me this last summer when I bought the newer generation Civics. We went from car to car in the lot and sure enough, each clutch clicked when I pressed and depressed the clutch.

Check to see if the fuze cover is properly secured under ur dash. Mine was a bit loose and not in the proper position, it seemed to hit the top of the clutch pedal assembly and made a "click", this was also felt in the pedal. After i reattched the fuze cover correctly problem was gone.

My old 07 Civic did not have this click (well was very faint). On the one I am buying it is more noticeable so the dealership is going to fix this before i buy. We will see how it goes.

I don't think it has anything to do with cruise control. If you were to set cruise control and lightly rest your foot on the clutch (as a test!!!), the cruise control will shut off immediately. In other words, the clutch is really sensitive and will cancel the cruise control.
