WTF?! anyone else have this problem?!

Well i was washing my car yesterday and i looked underneath and it seems like the spray from the factory is peeling off completely from the underbody!! what the hell?! anyone else have this? obviously this is not normal!

I just checked my 2000mile si. I got them too... they felt very soft, I think they are painted rubber or something.

Hmm yeah i thought they sprayed it to protect the under carriage and well i guess its wearing off and i only have 10,000 miles! i dont get it and i barely touched one piece and a whole chunk of the rubber stuff fell off.

They are like rubber bubbles that are broke.

thats just undercoating that was put on at the factory. i wouldnt worry about it. its not the paint. i am a tech. for honda and u see this from time to time. it is not a paint issue.

Doesnt matter if its a paint issue or defect this still shouldn't be happening and at 10,000 miles!

those are just rubber, they just spray the whole underbody so i wouldnt worry there not gonna rust. just go to the dealer or get undercoating and spray it yourself if it does bother you, the cans are only 3 bucks hope that helps.

This "problem" has happened on every car I've ever owned that had it on there. Unless you put a skirt all the way aroudn the car so NOTHING gets underneath it there's nothing you can do and has been said already, it's not a big deal.
