Civic EX airbag light reset??

i removed the seats on my '07 EX to do a deep cleaning with a steam carpet cleaner. Before undoing the sensors underneath the seats, I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery. After I finished cleaning the car, I reconnected the sensors to the seats and reconnected the battery. Now when I start the car I get the red airbag light (with the exploding airbag picture).

How do I reset this?? Tried disconnecting the negative terminal and reconnecting after a few mins. I was gonna try the paperclip trick, but my sensor looks a little different from the one in the YouTube video. My yellow sensor clip has 4 connectors and the one in the video only has 2.

Anyone every cleared this on a non-Si? Any ideas on how to get rid of this? It seems simple enough to do without going and getting overcharged by a dealership.

Some of the 07 models had bad crimping on a connector under the passenger seat, check out tsb 10-001.

You're not using a paperclip on the actual airbag connector at the seat, you're using it on the two pin diagnostic connector that is plugged into a dummy slot on the MICU (under-dash fuse box).

You should by all means have the code read and have the system inspected before clearing it though, it could save your life.
