cuzzins accord tranny problem

ok.. sorri i kno this is a civic fourm but dont wana sign up for a accord one for 1 question.....

my cuzins accord is messed.. 1990 coupe..

u have to shift the tranny from 1 to 2 to d3 to d4 to get the car going...

if ur at a full stop and try to get it goin from d4 it barly moves...... specialy if ur tryin to go up a hill it wont even go unless u manualy put it in 1st or 2nd gear..................

solution? tranny fluid is full.....

might be the torque converter

bfore this started happening.. the car was leakin antifreeze... and it was totaly dry and he ran the car for bout 20 mins dry......

would that affect anytin..
