First Ding

Well I guess it had to happen. I've got a ding just infront of the A pillar above the passenger front door. I'm hoping the paintless dent repair can get it out. I'm woundering if they will have to go and take the headliner off, to go behind to get the dent out. It does not sound like its going to be easy. Jeff

i don't think they have to take the headliner out, all the paintless dent removals i've ever seen have been done strictly from the outside.

The Ding

Thanks..Well it right above the passenger window near the A pillar and from what I can tell there looks like theres no place to go from behind. I guess I'll leave it at the Honda dealer. I have an appointment tommorow. I had my car at the dealer last week, so I stoped by and show it to them. There so cool they said they will take care of it, even though I said I might have caused it. I think it might have happened there because they replaced the A pillar trim on the inside and fixed a sunroof rattle. I'll cross my fingers and hope it works out.. Jeff

How would that happen, an acorn or something? Those dent guys do amazing work, you'll never know there was a dent there.

Well, I pick the car up today and its fixed. That panal is double steel and had the side airbags on the inside under the headliner which he did not want to touch. So they had to use some kind of puller from the outside. You can't see were it was bent, except if you take a magnifing glass to it you can see a very slight small ripple.
