Creating an in gear indicator
My wife is new to driving STD. Anyone think of a way to wire up a set of lights that would indicate which gear the trans was in?
Thinking about a switch(contact) that would be tripped as you shifted into a gear wired to a series of lights mounted a panel with a number under each light to indicated the gear. I have not had a close look at the shifter handle to see if there is actually a way to rig it. Wondered if those who have done some work on the shifter might have seen a way to do it. Thanks Gerry |
