i just made an appointment to bring my car in and the service writer told me there is no such thing as a TSB with his whiney attitude. i wanted to choke the guy out over the Phone.
i had the dealership replace both end links they said that would solve problem but still exists maybe tell them this but they will say is not for sedans bs
Excellent! Odd thing is my vin doen't fall within the range listed. But I have had this problem since day 1. I may bring this bulletin to my dealer's attention anyway, see what they say. Thanks for lookin' out, the bulletin came out today!
my 2007 LX coupe has this problem, anyone know why it isn't listed as one of the affected models?? could i get Honda to fix this if i bring this tsb to their attention?
well for me it would actually take me more of a hassle getting an appt. and have them have my car for prob more than a day cause they wont have the part in stock. so for me ordering a $5 part and taking 20 min to swap it out would be the best thing and the easiest thing to do
yeah mine knocks a couple times a week but i figure they could never reproduce it so ill probably wait till it gets worse. Also mines and 07 394th built... dammn

the service writer told me the only way they can fix anything is if their Quality assurance person heard it. and the chances of that happening are slim to none. they seem to hire deaf people for that job cuz they never hear any of the problems i have. although i hear it multiple times a day.
Like when you turn right, a buckling noise from the strut which I'd suspected might be the initial problem. My mechanic said it was the control arm. After swiping out, still heard the sound. Might need a new strut. Problem is when you swipe one strut, you gotta do the other side as well.
I just noticed a light popping sound from my front left that seems to happen at low speeds and rpm while letting off of the gas like it down shifts into first 1500 rpms or so. I just had the HFP suspension put on and dont remember it making this noise before that. I was afraid it was my transmission. Is this the niose theyre talking about?
The bumper stops get twisted there on the dampner. Happens often when you replace the struts. So that's why it happened afterwards. I saw a TSB somewhere where Honda says glue the new ones in thete
It's definitely a popping noise, like a tennis ball being hit really hard or some sort of *boing*. I don't know if anyone else can confirm this, but for me, there is NO mistaking this sound. It's not one of those noises where you're like "I think i heard it there". For me, this popping sound is like, "Wow, WTF was that?!?!".
EDIT: Oh, and also i can always isolate the sound to either the front left or right wheel area.
i completely agree with you sometimes it does sound like a tennis ball, kinda like what you hear watching pro tennis on tv. when i first got my car it would do it maybe once or twice while i was driving and only on big bumps.
then it started to also do it seldom when i made right hand turns, not its doing it a lot more even on smaller bumps, not turning even hardly any and even sometimes when i take off. seems like any change in weight on that side and its making the noise
My 07 Si Sedan does this as well. I never called the dealer on it yet. It's really bad when you go over a speed bump at like 2 mph. You can actually hear and feel it. It's like a bone popping out of joint kinda sound. It sounds really bad, but the car drives and handles fine. Just a major annoyance. I'll be sure to call my dealer next week. It's pretty easy to duplicate in my car.
I had an 06 Si Coupe that did not have this problem. Hmmm.
If your model/VIN range are not listed on the TSB then your wasting your time. The dealer is going to say, "sir your vehicle is not affected, see it's not mentioned on the TSB, it was already fixed by Honda".
