ok, so i just called the dealership. the Service writer who i will call douche bag, tells me that the Quality assurance guy has been driving my car all day and has not heard the noise once. now this is the same asshole that was in the car with me that heard the noise 3-4 times this morning. then the Service writer tells me they are having a tech look at it and drive it in a little while. i said, the car has been there since 745 am and you are just having a tech look at it now? he asks did you really expect us to fix it today? i cant wait to see how many miles they put on it and how much gas they used all day. brought it in with 6388 on the nose. i told him i dont want anyone else touching it and that i am contacting the president of the company who is a good friend of the family and that i am picking the car up and bringing it elsewhere.

Man its so true with alot of the dealerships. What i don't get is why they don't want to do warranty work. They get paid for it. Isn't it the same amount as a regular repair?
You should try out another dealership b/c its really hit or miss. Ive found some decent ones around my area.

Nope! They can only get reimbursed for the exact amount of labor that Honda says it takes to repair the part. If the "book" says 1 hour, and it takes their stupid asses 5, they can only charge 1 hour worth of warranty work. Whereas, if you don't have a warranty, they'll estimate 3 hours worth of work, do 5, and bend you over a chair w/o any lube.

Suck me in? I paid like 800 bucks for it. I just downloaded the lowest price I found for a HondaCare 8yr/120k 0 deductible warranty on the Internet from some dealership in MN or FL or something, and they price matched it...

And I don't know how they can swear it isn't the bump stop when there is a freakin TSB out there saying the bump stop was manufactured incorrectly...

All TSB information is available through the National Highway Safety something... heh... but I doubt something sent out last week isn't on there yet..

You should just tell them that it doesn't matter where you got it and that it is a problem and you want it fixed or you'll call NA Honda

Ain't that a hoot? They don't even know how and where to get their own freakin TSB's.

When I brought my car in the for the motor mount replacement, they guy was shocked a customer was able to get their hands on a TSB.

It's like a dirty little secret us "STUPID" customers are not suppose to know about so it seems to the public that the cars are problem free, thus avoiding publishing a recall and hence, not loosing money.

TSB's are simply a way to avoid putting our recalls in my mind.

I am having the same issues on my ex coupe 2007 with less than 3200 miles on it i started hearing it at 2100 miles thought it was just me, but i hear it at low speed under 10mph on bumps, mainly left side. What can we do if they(dealership) says they dont hear it or they wont fix it?

I agree.....

these Honda service bulletins are supposed to be for internal use only. If you are smart enough to track them down they (Honda) act as though you have "stolen" them. In short, you are at their mercy. I am going through this "song & dance" now regarding the #06-060 (right front suspension noise) fix. The service dept HAS to drive the car and hear the noise before even ordering the repair kit (so they say) then I have to make another appointment to have the thing fixed = another day off work and 50 mile round trip not mention getting comfortable in the customer service lounge for a couple more hours. I am going in for a scheduled oil/filter change tomorrow anyhow so why not have the kit on hand (which I think they already do) and use it if necessary on my car or not instead of dragging me back next week? Pisses me off.

Not sure if some of you know this, but you don't have to go to the specific dealer you bought the car from. If the dealer you're messin with wants to act like pricks, I would just go somewhere else.

If they ever give you crap, just tell them you can access the TSBs via: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/

Just tell them you can publicly view the TSBs from there and it's a government website. Tell them to go sue the government if they don't like it.
