Honda Is Repainting My front End under Warranty

OK,
So my hood and fenders are totally raped from like rocks and driving long distances on the freeway etc. I have a 07' NHBP Fg2 and I take very good care of it. I am quite obsessive over it, I wash it once or twice a week and quick detail it everyday after work. So I have what looks like little white particles embedded in my hood. Obviously they are little fishers and knicks from rocks and debris. It has been driving me crazy every time I clean my car the hood and side fenders look great except that there are little white lines all over the place. There are also a few big dings from big rocks(obviously)and you can see the metal on my hood. Ok so anyway I took it into honda early this morning, thinking they were going to to me to f@ck off, and showed the service manager my problem. He said that they can not warrenty the rock chips because that is normal wear and tear and he looked more closely and said that he is seeing crows feet. He said that the paint was so thin on my hood that the chips in the paint were cracking whenever my car would cool down and thats a sign of having to thin a paint job. So done deal they are going to repaint the hood, both fenders and the bumper. He said that they will put a better base and a thicker clear coat. He also said that the robot painters at honda paint the hood seperatly and that he has seen this before. I am stoked, brand new painted front end for free cant complain. If anyone else is haveing this problem PM me and Ill help you figure out what you need to do.Maybe I should invest in a clear bra now?I will keep you guys updated and will try to take before and after pics.

Nice man, hopefully this time they do a good paint job. Im getting a clear bra installed today so ill tell you how it goes. Kinda expensive but i get way too worked up about rock chips, so it gives me some good peace of mind.
Also, last night i was detailing my car and i noticed probably 15 little bumps... mann come on honda.. now i know noone else would notice them but of all the other cars ive detailed ive never seen this much. My dads 350z only had one, Mazda3 had 4..

I just picked up my car an hour ago and the clear bra looks great.. real good shop. The price was the cheapest i could find at 475 at PDI Tent and Clear Bra located in Lenexa, KS... so its by no means cheap. I don't think were talking about the same item if yours was 100 or so... Some places wanted up to 800 for it.
I'll try to post pics if the clear bra shows up but it will have to be some good lighting. You can notice the lines if your studying it but its not bad at all and now i don't have to worry about freakin trucks :)
