Question 07 VW 4dr Rabbit Vs 07 Honda Civic Sedan LX

My friends getting a new car since he graduated HS, , whats better....

VW Rabbit 4dr= Bigger, stronger engine, less mpg than civic, V-Dubing College idiots that think they're cool just because they drive a VW w/e...

Honda Civic Sedan LX= I also have the same car (except its 1 1/2 years old already) better gas millage, better safety, i-Vtec is better than the 2.5? i think (w/e), looks cooler, better resale, fun when i-Vtec kicks in, hey its a honda....

pls reply!!

How long is he really going to drive that particular car? I say get the Rabbit, in an effort to disagree with what everyone will be saying. In particular the poster above me. The LX will last long, save more gas, but the VW does have a bigger engine, and should be a little more lithe due to a smaller overall body.

rabbits haven't been receiving good reviews. The 5-cyl is rough and slow. I drove one. The handling will make you laugh.

i work at a VW dealership and drive these cars all the time. I would take my Lx civic over a rabbit any day.... Just the fact the the oil change reminder light can only be reset by a dealership is enough to make me not want one.

Rabbit felt like it had a lot more heft in the corners.
