pulling to the right

has anyone had any problems with pulling to the right. ever since i had the trans fixed, i noticed that my car pulls to the right. i changed the tires, rotated the tires, changed the springs, and alignment. Still pulls though. I am going to try to take it back to the dealer, however i have a feeling they arent going to do anything because of the drop springs. anyone else having a problem like this or any ideas? i am starting to think a spindle may be the cause or possible a slight drag with the brakes on the passenger side.

is it just happening whenever? Or is it occuring when you are accelerating? or better yet accelerating hard?

From my experiences with the SI the car does have some torque steer issues, Possibly the springs are making it worse? dunno.

I just got my civic yesterday so I am not real familiar with this vehicle yet. But if they had to access the tranny by loosening or dropping the cradle your car may need alignment (cradle adjust) to get the pull out. I could be wrong just a thought.

No, but it could be the brakes. Check it out with your dealer.

it pulls all the time, not when accelerating. that is what led me to believe it was a tire or alignment. i can say it is neither of them. the actual subframe (cradle) i can possibly see that, being since they dropped it to repair the transmission. the brakes i could also see, if the caliper is collapsed a little bit. i am going to call honda this week and try to get it in the shop next monday. thanks all for the input.

My 06 LX sedan, since day 1 has pulled to the right despite many alignments at the dealership.

I know this was a big complaint of many 06 owners such as myself. I cannot speak for 07's though.

i am going to call them today and see if i can get an appointment, however i have a feeling they are going to try to blame it on the drop springs and not even look at it.

let them find out about the springs, don't tell them you have them until they bring up that you have them

SAME PROBLEM on the Honda CRV

I just bought this car on Friday, I traded in my 2002 Honda Civic, and it is pulling to the right, not alot but just enough to annoy you. I contacted the dealer and he said it was a safety feature. Why would it be a safety feature? My 2002 Civic didn't do this? They said they would look at it, but I don't know if I am wasting my time?

ummm all cars are supposed to pull to the right a lil bit, like he said its a safety feature. that way if someone happens to pass out at the wheel for whatever reason it may be the car will pull off to the right instead of the left into oncoming traffic.

BTW for the little pulling to the right roads are crowned so it will pull a little to the right, if they counter the crown then your car will be technically pulling a little to the left.

yea, i know that all roads have a slight grade to them so that your car pulls away from on coming traffic if you fall asleep, but this is way more than that. i have also tried driving on the opposite side to see if it would pull to the left and it stayed straight. so that told me there is some problem that i really dont want to deal with. i hope they can fix it, its getting old. especially since i drive 1 hour one way to work everyday.

make sure the tire pressure is the same on both sides...u never mentioned balancing but u prob did that...also could be brakes or wheel bearings...doubtful that it could be the tranny...power steering???

well so far they are calling me telling me that everything is within specs. so i ever so politely had them pull up bulletin 06-068. They did and said they would give it to the tech to make sure he did all the items it says to do, which they are sure he did. so we will see. if they cant fix it, i am going to call another honda dealer and have a chat with the service manager about the issue. Thanks catch for the info.
