Fog light problem

the 1 pin connector that hides behind the washer fluid won't connect to the connector that goes to the fog lights. i know that the lights work and come on since i plugged to the 1 pin connector that hides under the dash. there's a lot of grease on the connector could that be the cause?

Yes that is the right connector. I think the goey stuff is to help prevent it from rusting or something. Just really push hard for it snap in might wanna wear gloves or something so your hands don't get slippery.

yea i had that same problem, you just gotta force that sucka in then you will be all set, and remember when you connect that red wire to the fuse thing, to make sure its all the way inside.

i had the same problem and thought my wiring was faulty or whatever.. took me a while, then decided to add a little bit of pressure when putting it together and it eventually went in lol
