Clutch toast...at 15000kms?

Well, i'm not sure, but i'll throw out the info for you guys.

Friday night was at a party with some friends. Early in the evening, took them out for a spin. Got onto the freeway and floored her, rowed through the gears, then back onto a back road. Stopped, and dropped the clutch and peeled out.

Got back to the party, and a couple others wanted to go for a spin too after the first 2 I took out were raving about the sound. So again, same route.

But when I stopped on the back road to do a burn-out, I dropped the clutch, but it didn't drop. It sorted howled and the RPM needle climbed slowly but the car didn't really accelerate. I immediately put the clutch in and accelerated normally. There was a rather potent burning smell. Kinda like burnt tires, but I didn't burn-out.

Clutch toast? Back to driving it like I normally do. 99.9% of the time, I drive it like a granny, and it's been shifting fine, although from a dead stop, there's kind of a little pop/slip right before you fully let the clutch out. If it does end up needing a new clutch, i'm going to be furious. I punch it a couple times, and the clutch goes? I call BS.

Im know stranger when it comes to burning clutch smells and you defintantley burnt it but dont worry about it, my friend trying to learn how to drive his integra burnt it a few times but no problems just means youll have to replace it sooner , on my old jeep when i was getting pulled over i was soo scared that i push the clutch in but didnt let off the gas seconds later that familiar smell came in but that was the only time i have ever burnt one, but im real familiar with the smell its very distinct, and NOPE i didnt get a ticket!!! when you do replace your clutch upgarde it!

Edit:Oh and i forgot to mention you shouldnt have anything to worried about unless you just burnt the **it out of it, and if thats the case thats driver error , my sister burnt my friends mustangs clutch, he had to limp it home in first, atleast yours is not that bad.. yet

Oh for sure. I'm not going to replace it with a factory Honda clutch.

Hopefully it's not hooped, but I've read about a number of other members having to replace it this early, they don't sound to be very good clutches at all . I'm sure you had other upgrades planned ahead of this one. I wouldn't be surprised if mine was hosed next year due to 3rd gear
