oh this sucks!! Take a look o.0

I lent my car to my sister for a quick trip to wherever she had to go, and she comes home with this...

the horror!! That's the front passenger side on the hfp lip. She tried to parallel park and got to close to the curb. Geez... >[

I remember a month or so ago, someone posted a DIY repairing some scrapes on his habby or RR with the touch up paint from the dealer. He did a pretty good job with it. But for the life of me, I can't find it again.

Help finding the DIY please? And what do you thinking about using touch up to fix that up?

If that were mine I wouldn't really care to much honestly. I let my lil brother drive my car (07 sidan) and it came back with a couple 1/2" knicks on the drivers door. I couldn't blame him to much cause ish does happen. As long as she isn't the kind of person who disrespects others peoples ish then you gotta give her the benefit of the doubt. Although I wouldn't parallel park anyone elses car, thats just me though.

On a second note; if you do want to fix it that should be pretty easy. White is super easy to blend. Get the touch up spray can from your local dealer. Prep via sanding from about 150 up to 300/400 or so. You will want to sand the whole corner area and about 2" or so diameter around it (only with high grit). Wash well and dry. The urethane is really easy to work with. Then just do a couple coats over the affected area until its totally covered. Then after its dry do a really really light sand over the area you just painted and about 2" diameter around it and do 1-2 decent blend coats.

You won't even notice it after its all dried up. Cost ~$15

this thread reminds me of that guy that let his sister borrow the car and he was pissed because she scratched the ring around the ignition.

Naw, I'm not angry (ie the funny face >[ )... and this is more drastic than scratches around the ignition (i dont think i've ever seen that part of my car before, haha). Just trying to find that DIY that guy wrote. =P
