Windows Making Noise

Hi there,

Its been only 5 months for my new honda civic LX Coupe and it have started making noise when i close the door ... freaking windows piss me off badly with their noise. Is there something i can do for windows so that they dont make noise when they are half open.
Right now i am closing doors only with windows all the way up.

Thanks
Danny

My driver side window is also rattling when they are half opened...while driving and when I close the door. I think the window is not in its track. Having it checked out tomorrow afternoon at the dealer (along with the wind noise by the side mirror - gap in the window and seal).

Went to dealer today.. test drove my vehicle and said could not hear the rattling. (I was inside the car with him as well.. but he drove) Didn't even drive over big bumps.. mostly smooth roads. As for the wind issue he said it was normal... BS. I forgot to bring in the Service bulletin. and he could not find it on their computer system.....

Then gave excuses like that document is from the US... (I'm from canada) and its doesn't affect canada...........

Going to bring it to another dealer.

I visited my dealer too. He said this is quiet normal when you close the door and windows are half way down. So he put it on me to be carefull while closing the door.

Are any of your windows tinted? I had this problem right after my windows were tinted. I brought it in to be looked at, but they didn't find anything. I brought the tech out, slammed the door and all you heard was rattling. Then I put the window down half way, grabbed the top of the window, shook it back and fourth and you can hear the noise it makes, but in slow motion. He gave me this foam spray, sprayed it in the rubber mount and it only cured the problem temporarily. I'm curious to know the resolution, since I never bothered to follow up on it.

Tinted windows have nothing to do with it. When they tint your windows, they don't remove any panels, or shouldn't at least.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought. I may have feeling that whoever tinted my windows probably made the window regulators loose.
