Progress rear swaybar rattling

Hey everyone,

I recently decided to finally install my non-Si Progress swaybar adapter kit (allows fitment of the Progress bar into non-Si's) and my Corsport endlinks.
When I originally received my swaybar, it did not include the adapter kit (Progress' fault, not Corsport's), and so I set about trying to install the swaybar without it, not knowing that I should have had an adapter kit. Believe it or not, I DID get it to fit, but it was a bitch. I have had no issues with the bar until recently:

Important info for all those with aftermarket sways!

So I did that fix, and while I was at it, I installed the new endlinks and the adapter kit (which I received after my bar was originally installed).
Now, with the adapter kit, I get an obvious rattle/clunking sound out of the bar when I go over a bump, on the right and left side (or one or the other). But:

- all bolts are tight
- the modified/strengthened endlink brackets are secure
- the Corsport endlinks are secure on the brackets and the bar
- the bar is not hitting the control arms or any other suspension component

The only part I see being a problem is the adapter kit, which I'm starting to think I shouldn't have installed
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I have the day off today, so I'd like to solve the problem today while I have the time. If anyone needs pics, let me know and I can go out and snap a few.

Thanks!
Jason

***EDIT***

Okay, looks like I got smart and actually took some pictures during the install:

Okay, well it kind of sucks that this got 38 views and no responses, but I did some more work today. I reinstalled the original endlinks, and NO NOISE. So this is definitely a problem with the Corsport endlinks. My guess is that the ball is loose in the socket at the pivot points, which is what's making the noise. Has anyone with the Corsport endlinks had this problem?
Until this is resolved, I'll probably just put my stock ones back on, because I feel like a tool driving around town with the back end of my car clunking loudly.

Ill take them back or send you a new set -- we have tons installed with no problems. We do have ONE customer on an ep3 with noise from one side, but his stayed even after a new endlink -- so we think its something else on his.

But anyway, let me know,
Tai

This is the procedure I went through to narrow things down.

1. Drove the car (briefly) with no bar or endlinks. No noise = problem with the bar/endlinks.
2. Drove the car with the bar, non-Si adapter brackets and STOCK endlinks. No noise = problem with the endlinks/bolted connections.
3. Drove the car with smaller washers (to better fit modified LCA brackets). Noise = problem with endlinks themselves.

Each time the car was driven, I made 100% sure that all bolts were very securely tightened, so I could rule out rattling connections. I went through all of this so I could be sure it was the endlinks. I wouldn't waste your time with this unless I was absolutely sure.

If you want me to send the current set I have back to you so you can look them over, let me know.

Thanks for your help!
Jason

No, I checked for possible interference as well. The bar is definitely not touching anything.
Shoot me a PM regarding shipment details and I'll send them out.

Thanks again!
