Crankshaft Position Sensor CEL?

question for you guys. i was driving today and missed the turn i was suppose to make. so i came to a dead stop to turn around, i put my car in reverse, then back into 1st but then stalled. next thing i know, my car wont turn over. it would not start for shit. finally i got it on but now with a CEL. thanks to my new little gadget i bought "scan gauge 2" i was able to determine it was a p0339 which is the crankshaft position sensor. the CEL stayed on until i cleared it. once it was cleared it hasnt gone back on. any thoughts about why this happened?

Post your mods. Without information, this post is good as toilet paper.

Your timing was thrown off. happened in my last car. Either the sensor is going bad, or your timing / cam position is off. what mods do you have?

Well, now that you've cleared the freeze data and snapshots, it'll make life difficult. Your P0339 is CKP Sensor Circuit Intermittent Interruption.

I'd recommend that you bring it in, but if you must DIY.

Check for loose connections at:
CKP sensor
ECM (DING DING DING DING, most likely)
Engine Ground
Body Ground

Generally two clicks away.
Click on the poster's name.
Click on "View Public Profile"

Lots of mods, pointing to Hondata or ICE installation problems which could lead to this code.
