VSA and engine light

i was driving my 07 si about a week after i installed an injen cai, and the VSA light and engine malfunction light came on and the car began to violently shake when the rpm gained 3000, shocked the hell out of me haha, i stopped in a parking lot and took a look in the engine compartment but everything looked fine, drove it a mile more and it kept shaking and jerking around at 3 grand, i took it to my dealership today and they said that the intake modification had not had the o2 sensor(Mass Air Flow Senser) fully "plugged in" as they said it, so they said the only thing they can do is fully plug it in and hope for the best, they said it would remove the engine light but the vsa would remain on, they also said it would permantly leave vsa on while i drive with this condition, boggled my mind because i figured that was the reason the car shook in the first place, i have no idea what to do, anyone give any suggestions for me?

Does it still drive like sh!t after they plugged in the MAF fully?

Pull the battery cables for about 1-2 mins if you want to reset the computer. That should get rid of the check engine and VSA lights.

I smelt gas and the car would not start with the key, however, it would turn over but it wouldn’t start until I bump started the car. After the car was started and I continued driving I noticed when the rpm reached 3000 the car would stutter, I stopped in a parking lot and took a look in the engine compartment but everything looked fine, drove it a mile more and it kept shaking and jerking around at 3 grand I left the car to sit for 10 minutes and came back and attemped to start the car this time with no problem at all by key the letters VSA and ! had disappeared but the engine malfunction light is still on..
I Have The Same Problem, However I Have No Cai Installed Or Any Aftermarket Parts For That Matter. Is There Anything I Can Do Before It Goes To The Dealer.. EDIT: I was and believe still am in limp mode

My VSA light and the triangle light next to it came on and I took it to the dealer today. They said it was because of my aftermarket lights! I have red neons under the dash plugged into the cigarette adapter, WTF! They told me to remove all aftermarket parts including neons and CAI and bring it back or it wouldn't be covered under warranty. However, they told me that the VSA is still working fine even though the lights are on. Is there any way to test whether or not the VSA still is working? Like maybe try peeling out in a wet parking lot and see if I feel the brakes engage? I really don't want to have to pull out my intake and replace the stock one so they can fix a light. BTW the light went on after having the car running on a lift. Any suggestions?
