Si Sedan Oil question

hi all

Something strange happens to my car, i went on a trip to China for one month and i left my car at home, before I left I check the oil level and everything was ok, now that im back i check the oil level again and it was very low. Is it normal that the oil level went down for not using the car?

There is no oil leak btw.

Did the oil get below the lowest mark on the dipstick? If not, check oil when engine is warm and see what happens. If it's still low, and you don't see any leaks, just add more and watch it carefully from now on.

All your oil has slowly dripped to the oil pan and was compressed. You are supposed to check your oil when the engine is at operating temperature but with the engine off. Run the car at operating temperature, shut it off, and check the oil. You should get the same level. If not, check under your car to see if there is oil leaking.

It will be close enough to the mark you last saw, but probably won't be exactly the same. When did you check the oil last time? Was the engine running for longer times? It depends. The longer you run the car, the more the oil will get distributed everywhere internally. Run the car and next time you fill up gasoline, check the oil and top off accordingly.
