Si Sedan Oil question
hi all
Something strange happens to my car, i went on a trip to China for one month and i left my car at home, before I left I check the oil level and everything was ok, now that im back i check the oil level again and it was very low. Is it normal that the oil level went down for not using the car? There is no oil leak btw. |

All your oil has slowly dripped to the oil pan and was compressed. You are supposed to check your oil when the engine is at operating temperature but with the engine off. Run the car at operating temperature, shut it off, and check the oil. You should get the same level. If not, check under your car to see if there is oil leaking.

This morning I start the car and let it warm up, then I stop the car and check the oil, i wasnt below the mark but it was very low, lower than the last time I check it before my trip, i just added some oil again but theres no oil leak, i check that already.
