Has anyone had any warranty work with mods??? and no probs?

just wanna know if anyone has needed to go to the dealer for warranty work, and have mods on there car like suspension and so on. have they givin u a hard time about any of it. please let me know

depends on the dealer and what kind of work you are going in for.

example..
if you have stereo mods and need work on a motor mount fix, then no issue.
if you have coilovers and need work on the motor mount fix, then they could
blame it on your coils and have you pay. theoretically they would need to
prove your mod was at fault but they can take their dandy time.

if the parts have no relation to each other, go for it.

I took mine in for a rattling/ringing at 6000+ rpm. Turned out to be my CAI, they fixed it and didn't charge me.

Seems to depend on the dealer. Some are better than others.

+1. Unfortunately, it seems like the whim of the dealership. My Infiniti dealership put a new intake manifold, CAI and cat back exhaust on while my warranty is still intact. Other guys have said their dealers told them that they had voided their warranties. I personally would check with the dealer you bought your car from and check on their opinion regarding mods.
