Oil life question
I searched a bit but didnt find the same question i have. My SI just hit 1k miles and the oil life is at 90%. It hit 90% at about 600 miles and hasnt gone down since. should i be concerned about this or just not worry about it and change my oil at around 3-5k miles no matter what the percentage says?

I usually get mine changed at 5,500 miles since the last change..but usually the sensor is accurate. just check your oil from time to time, when you think it looks like it needs to be changed...change it...can't always listen to an LCD computer display. Sometimes you just have to see it yourself.

Change it at the recommended interval. 20% or slightly less.
Oils and engines have gotten more efficient, and Ford recently changed their interval to 10000 or 12000k, I forget. Honda designed and built your engine, change the oil when they tell you to. The days of 3000 miles are in the past.
