What's the purpose of the largest hose on the Injen CAI?
The people I had installing it stupidly cut it thinking there was only two hoses instead of three. When I showed them the other hose they did a ghetto repair job to put it back together by just sticking a small rubber piece inside the tube and connecting it to the other side. The airflow is restricted a little from the repair. My question is what actually travels through that hose? And is it a big enough deal to get it replaced?
Also, did anyone notice that the engine bay felt WAY hotter after putting the intake on? I never remember feeling this much heat from under the hood. My guess is because the original intake was blocking up a lot of the heat coming off the engine. IDK, any ideas? Just me? Thanks. |
