Short Stops & Almost Stalling

Hey,

Just curious if anyone else has ever had this problem.

I have a 06 LX sedan with 12K on it now. Auto tranny.

Every so often if I have to stop very suddenly, the car just about almost stalls out then rebounds back to normal idle?

It has happened about 10 times over the 12K but when it happens, it's very noticeable.

Anyone else ever have this??

Take it in to get it checked. Maybe there's a problem with the throttle or ecu, or who knows ???

its worth getting checked out, you don't want your power to fail when using the brakes

It has happened to me also, the rpm's seem to drop really low as i'm coming to a complete stop, then just rev back up and go back to idle.

I brought mine to my mechanic, he said my engine was running really lean, I have an CAI and Exhaust, does anyone think it has to do with the backpressure, I have a MT so if I throw it in neutral and the Air Conditioning is on it almost always die's, im going post this somewhere else, also my check engine light is on and I cant pass inspection with a check engine light on... my mechanic plugged it onto an obd and thats where he got it was running lean... anyway thanks!

I had this problem as well, it turned out that the filter had wiggled loose on my SRI. Tighten her down and you should be golden. I would recommend resetting the ECU as well.

I forgot I even made this post, hehehe.

Can I just unhook the battery for a few minutes and re-hook up?

Do I have to do an ECU learn??

Thanks.
