Civic sucks on handling

My only gripe (and is a big one)is this car, (07 sedan) sucks ass on highways. Si sways didn't help and I am not going to waste my money on other upgraded items to get minimal improvemeant on the problem.
Jesus, I have to keep both hands on the wheel to feel safe most of the time if doing over 65 mph, car floats, rocks, body roll, etc. God forbid I have to swerve to avoid an object in the road or another car in my path because the Civic seems it would roll with little effort.

Btw, all small cars don't handle like crap. True, they get tossed around on windy days, but for the most part most smaller economy cars like the Civic don't feel nothing like the civic.

This is an issue with the new civics, just ask your local service guy, whats the biggest complaint on the cars.

Right now I need the mpg 35+ I'm getting but will trade this car in when something catches my eye that also gets the mpg. Maybe the Accord which doesnt get the mpg, but I'd give up some miles not to feel like I'm in a geo metro pos...........

Vechile pulling or drifting. This bulletin also refers to steering wheel not being centered.

Take it to the dealer and tell them to refer to 06-068 Service bulletin, dated January12th 2007.

My lx sedan did the same thing until I upgraded to Si tires and wheels...rides much better now on the highway...so..IMO upgrade the tires and wheels and then decide whether you still want to trade it...I am ready to install the Progress rear sway...I will you know if this makes any difference...

Holy crap, have you actually looked at what's involved in that TSB? The tech has to do hours of work just to "prove" your car needs an alignment. I get more and more disappointed with Honda "service" everyday.

Wheels and tires should Help you a lot, the Stock tires on the Civic are garbage.

i've driven a civic ex sedan...
now try and swerve to avoid an object in the road or another car on the highway lol
I tried it and it was fun bc this dumbass was speeding and suddenly stops due to a cop having his radar out so from 70 he went to 30 in a sec and i had to dodge it...

your have to keep both hands on the streering wheel at 65 mph to feel safe? smtng is def. wrong... i have a stock(performance,suspension,wheel/tire wise) 06 ex sedan and it handles great on the highway... ive driven over 18o km/h with one hand on the wheel and i felt very safe...

In tight turns and swirving maneuvers it does roll quite a bit... hfp suspension and wheel/tire upgrade will def. help u out tho...

Yeah these are the questions that will be asked.

DIAGNOSTIC WORKSHEET
NOTE: Copy this page and have the service manager or advisor use it to interview the customer, then take it on
your test-drive for reference. Extra space is available to write down your answers. Attach a copy of your diagnosis to the repair order.
Service Manager or Advisor
Ask the customer these questions. Circle or fill in the appropriate answers.
Does the vehicle pull all the time, some of the time, or on one particular road?
If the vehicle pulls only on a particular road, describe the road.
Does the vehicle pull during acceleration, deceleration, or cruising?
When driving with one or more passengers, does the pull go away or stay the same?

Si sways helped the ride above 70+mph, but I have a coupe. Probably the best thing you can do is get some performance tires or tires that have more grip, however you want to word it(don't necessarily need new rims though) and make sure they're inflated correctly about every month or two.
