Dead spider in my rear tail light!!!

The other day I noticed that there is a dead spider and a lot of webs inside the blinker on the back of my sedan. There is a funny "lens" inside there where I can't get it out (the bulb sits behind this plate). I removed the bulb, but I can't get to the other side of that lens.

Do you think Honda would cover this under warranty? If the little guy got in there, then there has to be a hole somewhere. It's just like if there was water in there they would cover that? Somethings not sealed up right?

Just wanted some input, I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what they say.

I might just have to name him and keep him as a "pet"

I have a little spider in each one of my rear tail lights!! No spider web or any thing like that... the spiders are pretty small and my tails are tinted so they are not really noticable... i'd like to know what the dealership would say when u would ask if its under warranty!!

Wow.. this brings back memories of my dad's old car.

He had a (wanna say 1987) Saab something or another, and in the brake light in the window was a huge, petrified bumble bee. It stayed there for as long as I can remember, maybe 10 years, before he traded in the car last summer for an accord.

I wish I could go back and take a pic of it now.

That's where mine is. He was alive at one time, because there are all kinds of tiny webs inside. I guess he was able to get in, and no other bugs could so he starved.

If I would have seen him earlier and found out how he got in I could have fed him and kept him alive!

I'm getting ready to call the dealer in a little bit. I'll let you know what they say. I'm just curious

Just talked to my Honda dealer. They said no problem, bring it in and they would get the little guy out... no charge!

I'm going to swing by tomorrow and let them take him out.
