I think my tranny fluid overfilled

I have a few questions and I want to be sure that I am right before I go do something. My 2nd and 3rd gear is kind of scratchy (best word I can think of) and doesn't go in very smoothly. I want to be positively sure my clutch fluid is overfilled before I do something. I called my dealership and he basically told me as long as I don't screw up the car changing my clutch fluid, my warranty is still good ''he thinks''.. wtf???? that was kind of vague for me and he really didn't know so I said can I just bring my car in and have Honda do it for me, he said sure. I just want to make sure that Honda knows what they're doing when changing the clutch fluid, and has anyone ever changed their fluid from Honda and was satisfied as if they did it themselves?

My suggestion, do it yourself. Clearly, you're having doubts.

We can't but Honda does. When I changed my tranny fluid to the Amsoil, fluid came out when I loosened the fill bolt. When I put it back in, I stopped filling it once fluid came out of the fill hole then put then bolt back on.

I want to know if Honda can fix this problem right for me or not. I don't want to void my warranty (6 yr 75000) by fixing this myself (which I prefer to do) because I asked my dealer that sold me the car if I change it myself, will it void my warranty and he said basically he's not really sure. So has anyone ever gotten Honda to change the tranny fluid themselves and was satisfied as if they did it themselves?

Thanks
