That's just the circulation mode, where air is moving to your face. If you don't want to blow in your face, you'll have to also press the recycle air mode to block off the vents that shoot air into your face. That's what I do, but I'll still have the windows down for air circulation.

Short answer, no. If the speed of the fan is set to zero, then no, especially if the temperature is on cold. If you have the AC or heat on, then yes.

i hate how the fans blow air when it is set to OFF. If the knob is turned to the red (hot) side my car heats up fast (inside)...i just turn it to blue and push the feet only button

i wish u could completely turn off the heating/cooling

is it the fan blowing? I always thought it was just the air being pushed into the car because you're moving

There's a vent in the trunk for circulation, honda must have had problems with people suffocating or something. Anyways, set the circulation mode to "recirculate" which has an amber light, that way no outside air is coming in. I can't believe you're calling honda for something like that. It should be common sense, green means "open/outside air" so naturally, air will travel into the cabin.

I know that if you have Max AC on it will not let you move it from the face vents, or turn the recirculation mode off.

How does having the temperature set to hot use extra gas?

the only reason i was gonna call honda is because at least mine is more than outside air, it is actually heating or cooling the passenger compartment
