Stiffening Gas Petal

Hey Guys, has anyone tried to stiffen the gas petal on an 06 or 07 Si? Mine is way too soft. In a half hour ride my leg is exhausted. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

But either way...I don't get it? Would you elaborate more on the problem? I've driven for 6 hours straight + more don't see a problem with the pedal itself.

Smile Stiffening Gas Petal

Yeah, apparently it's an ergonomic thing for me. The weight of my foot just wants to take the gas petal to the floor, so I have to constantly hold it up. Of coarse when I'm on the freeway I can use the CC. But no worries, I've since fixed it by applying a throttle return spring (purchased at a local auto parts store) to the rod above the petal, and after a bit of adjusting, the tension is now good.

bring your foot back so that it press the pedal closer to the pivot point, therfore you foot will give less torrque.
