Hazards and Turn Signals Not Working

My boyfriend left my hazards on all night. The battery was dead in the morning and we jumped the car. Now the hazards and the turn signals don't work. He checked the fuse and says its ok.

What do you think is wrong?

Thanks for any help!

I don't think it is the bulbs because they don't work on the front of the car, the back or inside. Meaning, the green turn signals on the dash don't light up. There is no clicking sound that you normally hear when the flashers/hazards are on.

i think the turn signals are wired through the hazard switch. so a good place to start is to replace the hazard switch....maybe it is possible the switch burned out, whcih would cause the turn signals not to work.

if there is a relay for the turn signals you may also want to try that, and check teh fuse again. even if it doesnt look like it is bad, it still may be.

Thanks, I will have him switch out the fuse just to check and then we will start with the relays if the fuse doesn't fix the problem.

He is trying to claim that leaving the hazards on over night has nothing to do with the fact that the hazards and turn signals don't work now. Is he right and this could just be coincidence?? It seems a little too connected to me.

What is the flasher? Is this the same as the turn signal relay?

shouldnt something like this be covered under warranty? dats bullshit for turn signals to go out so quickly. i've left turn signals on in other cars for a day or two without the battery even dying and nothing went wrong. so my opinion is dont spend money and let the stealership fix it

I'm pretty sure when the bulbs are out, the flashers on the dash go out. It's there to indicate to you that the bulbs themselves are out. Wouldn't hurt to check.

the flasher and turn signal relay are different, but it should be covered under warranty. take it to the dealership just dont say u left them on all night, other wise its about 10 bux for a new flasher
