Hazards and Turn Signals Not Working
My boyfriend left my hazards on all night. The battery was dead in the morning and we jumped the car. Now the hazards and the turn signals don't work. He checked the fuse and says its ok.
What do you think is wrong? Thanks for any help! |

i think the turn signals are wired through the hazard switch. so a good place to start is to replace the hazard switch....maybe it is possible the switch burned out, whcih would cause the turn signals not to work.
if there is a relay for the turn signals you may also want to try that, and check teh fuse again. even if it doesnt look like it is bad, it still may be. |

Thanks, I will have him switch out the fuse just to check and then we will start with the relays if the fuse doesn't fix the problem.
He is trying to claim that leaving the hazards on over night has nothing to do with the fact that the hazards and turn signals don't work now. Is he right and this could just be coincidence?? It seems a little too connected to me. |

shouldnt something like this be covered under warranty? dats bullshit for turn signals to go out so quickly. i've left turn signals on in other cars for a day or two without the battery even dying and nothing went wrong. so my opinion is dont spend money and let the stealership fix it
