lol im not rubbing it in his face, i know he can do it if he just takes his bumper off, its right smack dab in front of your face, if you cant swap it out from there, then i think there may be a problem with your fuctioning...

ok take the bumper off, i think you have to take the passanger headlight out, i cant remember, then once you get it off and go to replace it, the only thing i suggest is to go buy some "air conditioner compressor oil" and put it on the fitting that is on the bottom left side before bolting it up.. i have everything you need including the oil if you just want to get the condensor and bring it to the meet this sunday.. we can do it there..

You still have to Evac and recharge the A/C system which takes a special piece of equipment........You may be able to intall it your self, but the system still need to be recharged and put up to a certain pressure....

a hole doesn't mean driver error...bc to make a hole there you mustve either done it on purpose or lifted the car then smash it with a hammer and nail...
tell them to go fudge themselves and fix the car as part of warranty or else you'll call honda headquarters

There's a fair few AC leak threads to bump so I'm gonna go with this one :-)
I have/had a leak I noticed today of some clear 'waterlike' liquid under the front right-ish portion of my car and after searching on here the likely culprit seems to be a puncture/leak in the ac condensor.
So my question is how long (if at all) would you expect the AC to keep working if there was a leak in the condensor?
The leak (which I suspect I picked up over the weekend when I did a back and forth trip across Washington State) has now stopped, but the AC still appears to be going strong. I just did a 15 minute loop and it didn't let up at all.
Cheers for any answers :-)

The clear water-like liquid was in fact: WATER! In case anyone in the universe still doesn't know the basics of their AC system..in a nutshell...hot/humid outside air is conditioned (dehumidified) and refridgerated by the AC compressor then distributed in the passenger cabin for your comfort. A by-product of all this is water wrung from the outside air (which can be very humid remember). This water has to drain somewhere (other than your passenger side footwell) so Honda thoughtfully places a drain in the exact place yours is "leaking". So you do not have a leak after all but what seems to be a properly functioning A.C. system. By the way if you ever did experience a real "leak" in the system it would be the invisible freon replacement R-34a that leaked out and it wouldn't stop until the system was dry..empty because it is a gas. Your AC would absolutely NOT work if that happened.

OK so it condensation after all. Just found it odd as I hadn't been using the AC much. Thanks for your concise description, I'll quit being paranoid now :-)
