Weird power shortage between shifts?

When I shift gears in my 2007 Civic SI Sedan, I notice that the engine seems really weak after switching gears, it feels like the engine is losing alot of power. Almost like its bogging. Like i can floor it and sometimes its like i dont have the gas on at all.. but it only happens after switching gears.

Anyone get this problem?

I get this too, at the high RPMs w/ quick shifts maybe its VSA slowing down my acceleration to get grip

not sure why it does it at the low RPMs

Mine does this too, but only at high rpm's when i do a quick shift. Even with the VSA off it still does it...

I've noticed the same thing in my 06, so it's not VSA at least for me. It's happens very rarely, and it usually happens around 4k-6k RPM, with the accelerator around 3/4 of the way down.

Any ideas?

It's because of DBW. Welcome to the wonderful world of DBW problems that most Civic owners have.
