NOTE: tree + car = no go - Say goodbye to my Civic *PICS*

Well, no one was hurt, I was the only person in the car, and no other cars were involved. But here is the breakdown...and I know I'll probably get flamed for this but hey, I messed up and I know it...but If you could, gimme a week before you flame, then come back and let loose....anyways, the break down: I was coming home at about 3:40 AM (After a graduation party..and no, we didnt have any alcohol) when I nodded off for a second at the wheel...when I woke up, I was going down the shoulder of the road and saw a mailbox sitting directly infront of me, so I snapped the wheel to the left, overreacted, and turned sideways....as I slid sideways back across the road, I ended up on the other shoulder, wrapped around a tree.

UPDATE:

UPDATE: Gary (HanCivicSi) Pictures:

Alright guys, this is what I have for now....As of now, its rice, but as soon as I find a set of stock tails, they're coming off.

I do not believe in the slightest that they would have lived...the center console is complete gone (armrest is slightly over into the drivers side), the gear shift is in the passenger side floor board.

I have no idea, but obviously I kept accelerating, and the downhill didn't help any.

Interior pictures? I am interested to see how the cabin space was (or wasn't) maintained.

At least there wasn't a passenger or other car involved.

Is that a tie hanging out the passenger window?

Some good things that happened were that I had the windows down so glass didn't shatter in my face, and also since there were down, I was able to climb out of my window afterwords because my frame wrapped so much that the door wouldn't open.

You know it is funny how a mailbox is almost always involved. Hate it for you, it was a nice car. You were very lucky. Glad you are ok.

I'll try and get more pics later..the tie was worn by myself at the graduation party...it was in the passenger seat but is now wedged between the passenger seat and the door,...I can't get it out...and I really liked that tie.

HOLY CRAP!
Everyone drives tired on occasion, unfortunately it bit you this time, but at least you are relatively ok. I'm sure you are pretty sore.

I know this is too early to think about this, but can you salvage any mod parts out of it?

... I'm not coming to Mobile anymore... that's two civics is such a short time (HanCivicSi and you)

Man, that so bites. At least you're okay. At least it happened with no one else. I used to have a bad habit of falling asleep behind the wheel when I was in my late teens. Then I just got into the habit of taking a nap before. Now I'm addicted to Monster, Rockstar and RedBull.

You can if I can get them...one has a hole in it from a while back from a rock...but I know where you can get it fixed, with better durability, for $30.
