If the passenger was there, this whole thing could possible be avoided, they might of kept you awake, or maybe not, who knows.

Also, you let them put steel chain on the passenger door??? Don't they care it could scratch the paint????

Well; you know it seems like this crap happens to the nicest people... You were going to make the shirts for the Dragon, seemed to help people on this site a lot, and this happens... and to top it off - people give you hell about it! You were being responsible IMO. Obviously you knew you were tired and had the windows down for the fresh air... i am sure the radio was on... and i am sure this was a complete accident. Now the only reason to get flamed is if you were DUI which from the onset you said you were NOT! so i am glad you are alright and not soar... you should still come to the dragon! Even if you dont have an 8th gen, you still have a name to uphold and represent.... maybe tape up your new car, to cover rock chips on the road trip...

^ Yes, opening windows and blasting music when you are dead falling asleep is the right thing to do, obviously. Same as drunks that try to chew gum.

Seriously, dude, was there a joint involved? I know you said you didn't drink and drive, but maybe you were smokin' and flyin?

Do you think it really mattered? The car was already totaled.

You know what I meant, you are going a little bit too far. And I am glad the dude is alright.

I'm having second thoughts on that. I think he mentioned that was a tie hanging from his passenger door. Who else thinks different? If that thing is a tie, it sure does look like a chain they tied the car to the tow truck.

i dont think anyone is gonna flame you for this type of accident...u dont deserve it. everyone drives home late at nite once in a while (which ive done thousands of times) and if u have to go home, u go home. unfortunately it had to happen to you...sorry for the loss but at least you're ok and thats all that matters. like someone said earlier....at least ur alive that u can purchase another civc...but this time an SI!!

FIRST OFF..it's a good thing you are alive and take it as a lesson learned and listen to your body when it tells you that you are too tired.SECOND for all of those reading my post...go back to the first page and really look at the pics...done? ok.....take this as a lesson that someone else paid for and don't do stupid things like race, drink and drive,SLEEP AND DRIVE.also notice that the only thing that would have absorbed the impact on the passenger side is those nifty airbags we have in our seats and B pillar.my point...after market seats don't come with airbags..you get the point.Glad your ok guy and best wishes on your road to recovery.

I view drunk driving, driving while on a cell phone, eating while driving, drowsy driving etc, all the same when it comes to an accident. It doesn't matter what is going on, if it's a distraction, well that could kill someone.

Thank the Lord that you didn't kill anyone and good luck.
+1
