valve cover gasket on Si...4 Coil Pack O-rings..

I took off my valve cover tonight before sending it to powdercoat tomorrow, and i removed the outer gasket already, but im wondering about the 4 inner 0-rings the coil packs sit in. Should those 4 o-rings be removed or are they non-removable> i cannot seem to easily get them out..?

It's not like on my older civic, where they pop in and pop out really easily, they seem really hard to get out, but any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Ok so i think i may have found the answer to my question on www.collegehillshonda.com browsing through the parts catalog.

Appparently you can order the parts ( 2342-PCX-004 GASKET B, HEAD COVER (NOK) from their catalolg at $2.52 eachx4, which leads me to believe that they MUST be removable. They are just really really stubborn at popping out!!

Item #4 pictured is the one in question....

Why didn't you just pay them the core charge and then wait till they send you your new one? then send the core back to them for a refund.

That way you don't have to have any downtime at all?

I don't put new gaskets in when I send the covers back. I leave that up to the owner. I always recommend replacing them, but in a lot of cases, it's not necessary. HOWEVER, some covers I have don't have gaskets in it at if they were in really bad shape.

I think I'm going to start stocking them and ship them loose with the newly coated cover.
