Squeeky Window?

Okay, this was never a problem until just recently.

I took my car to the dealership to get a passenger seat rattle checked out, among other things, and when I got my car back, the dealer said there was a rattle in the passenger side front pillar, and would require like 6 hours of warranty work to fix it.

Fine, whatever. I still have to reschedule for that, but I noticed the guy put some weird white lube-like stuff (don't even comment if your mind is in the gutter, perverts), all around me weather sealing and door jambs on the passenger side only, and now everytime I roll my window on that side up or down, it squeaks like its rubbing on rubber.

It's driving me crazy, should I make them fix it?

I see them put that lube stuff in all the time, I do not know what it is or does, but I see them spraying it in like WD-40.

I've put that stuff on the window rubber myself, it's called Shin-Etsu Grease. If it squeeks, make them take it all off and try silicone rubber spray instead. I use the silicone most of the time now, but back when I first started as a tech, everyone used Shin-Etsu.

BTW the spray-in stuff IS the silicone rubber lube. Shin-Etsu is the thick white crap. I usually only use it on squeeky odyssey door seals now days.
