'07 EX 4dr 2 weeks old and major issue :(

First post and I just got her...great, smoking car.

Except it has a big problem alredy. I was cruising about 50 mph on the highway when suddenly the car began to make this horrible squealing/grinding noise coming from the right passpander side area near the wheel. I pulled it over (since it sounded like something was dragging) to discover nothing was dragging and nothing visibly wrong. I got back in and as soon as I hit 50 again, it did it again. It was so loud you could hear it 5 cars away I'm sure.

What could this be? There were no diffrent feels to how the car drove, just this horrid noise. I am having it towed to the dealership tuesday god forbid its a belt that will snap!

Any ideas? Thanks for the newbie responses

anything like that theres no point in trying to guess what it is, just take it to the dealer and make them make things right

Could be many things but maybe either a bad wheel bearing or something like that.

Maybe something to do with the rear brakes as well.
