Progress rear sway making strange noise?

So I installed my progress rear sway the other day and am starting to notice a "thumping" noise . I cannot really determine what causes it to make noise but it is kinda bothering me. Has anyone else had any issues with their sway bars? any advice on troubleshooting this would be greatly appriciated.

btw, it seems to happen when the car gets a little off kilter(if thats how its spelled) like when I pull diagonal into my driveway or up into a shopping center. It has also happend during aggressive turns

Will it fit in there upside down? My friend that works at FORD installed it for me and I am almost positive it is the right way. I called him 2day and he said he can put it back on the lift monday but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or just input from my fellow 8th civic owners.

if its rubbing on your exhaust pipe thing.. then its definitely upside down.. and yes.. it IS possible to install it upside down.. i've seen at least 5 instances where people have done that.. if correctly installed.. it should NOT be touching anything.. there should be sufficient clearance from everything and the sway bar..
