Exclamation Injen CAI problem

I got an Injen CAI installed on my sedan a couple days ago, and I'm having a couple issues with it:

I notice that at low rpms, the car seems to buck if I lightly press the gas/let off. Also, around 2500 RPMS, I notice that if I have the throttle down about half way, the car seems to hesitate and then bogs down. At wide open throttle, the car seems ok, but I definitely don't feel a speed increase. Overall the revs seem to want to drop quicker, and the car feels like it is running really bad gas/has a touchy throttle response etc.

Has anyone noticed these throttle issues? Can someone give advice? Thanks,

-Freq

i would say....disconnect the computer and let it reset itself
or change your spark plugs

the "bucking" is a problem with all SI's. it has somthing to do with the DBW system and is yet to be completely fixed...as long as you are refering to first gear....

everything else sounds mostly like normal intake characteristics.

nope not 1st gear...2nd and 3rd also. Pretty much anything under/around 2500 rpm or lower

Have you tried resetting the ECU as suggested? Also, look for hoses that might have been dislodged or not connected when the intake was installed.

Check the MAF sensor, it could be bad or you installed it incorrectly. it is somewhat sensitive and when you removed it to put it on the CAI you may have damaged it.

Good Luck
